Education Minister Conducts Surprise Inspection of Schools in Gariaband’s Mainpur Region

School Education Minister Shri Gajendra Yadav conducted a surprise inspection of schools in the Mainpur region of Gariaband district on Tuesday. His visit was not limited to administrative review; he personally interacted with children, teachers, and villagers to understand the ground realities. During the inspection, the minister focused particularly on the teaching process, students’ condition, and school facilities.
*Review of Teaching Activities at Primary School Dhavalpur*
The Education Minister first reached Primary School Dhavalpur, where he examined all school activities in detail. He checked the teachers’ attendance register and stressed regularity and punctuality. The minister reviewed the quality and distribution of the Mid-Day Meal Scheme and instructed that no child should be deprived of essential materials such as textbooks and uniforms. While interacting with the children, he asked about their favourite subjects, difficulties in studies, and available facilities, encouraging them to study with dedication.

Shri Yadav then visited Higher Secondary School Dhavalpur. He inspected all classrooms and reviewed the availability of subject-wise teachers, particularly for key subjects like Science and Mathematics. He sought details from teachers regarding board exam preparation plans and instructed them to ensure timely and quality teaching. The minister also assessed infrastructure development and additional classroom construction, emphasising strict adherence to construction quality and timelines. He also checked the online leave management of teachers to ensure smooth academic functioning.

The inspection generated considerable enthusiasm among the students. Many of them shared their problems and suggestions with the minister. He listened to them attentively and said that the government is giving top priority to children’s education and is continuously improving the education system.

The Education Minister also interacted with girl students returning from Higher Secondary School Mainpur. The students highlighted the need for a proper school building and teachers for the Science subject. Minister Shri Yadav assured them that their demands would be fulfilled soon.
