Sai expresses deep sorrow over Bilaspur train accident

Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai has expressed profound grief over the tragic train accident near Bilaspur, calling it an extremely painful and distressing incident. Extending heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families who lost their loved ones, the Chief Minister said, “May God grant eternal peace to the departed souls and give strength to the grieving families to bear this unbearable loss.”
Chief Minister Shri Sai announced that the State Government has decided to provide financial assistance of ₹5 lakh each to the families of the deceased and ₹50,000 to each injured passenger. He stated that complete arrangements have been made to ensure proper and free medical treatment for the injured, and directions have been issued to the district administration to carry out relief and rescue operations with utmost urgency and efficiency.
The Chief Minister further said that teams from the district administration and the Railways are working on the ground with full dedication in the rescue and relief efforts. All necessary medical facilities and resources are being made available for the treatment of the injured. He added that the State Government is keeping a close watch on the situation with full sensitivity and vigilance and is taking every necessary step to assist those affected.
