Bastar Rising Campaign to Start from October 8: Bastar’s Talent, Culture, and Potential Will Get a National Platform

A special campaign named “Bastar Rising” is set to begin on October 8, a joint effort by the Department of Public Relations, Government of Chhattisgarh, and the District Administrations of all districts in the Bastar division. This campaign, which will run for two weeks, will be organized across all seven districts of the Bastar division.
The objective of this campaign is to showcase Bastar’s cultural, environmental, and entrepreneurial potential at the national level. During the campaign, dialogues, workshops, and cultural programs will be organized among experts, youth, artisans, and local communities.
The “Bastar Rising” caravan will travel through Keshkal, Narayanpur, Kondagaon, Sukma, Dantewada, Bijapur, Chitrakote, Barsur, and Jagdalpur. During this time, special focus will be placed on Bastar’s potential related to art, handicrafts, agriculture, tourism, sports, and education.
The campaign will conclude in Raipur with the “Harmony Fest 2025,” where Bastar’s inspiring stories, innovations, and cultural heritage will be showcased. This event will be based on the theme “Dil Mela – Dil Mein La” (Heart Festival – Bring it to the Heart).
