Revenue Minister Verma Directs Revenue Officers to Resolve Cases Within Prescribed Timeframes

Raipur, August 23
Keeping citizen convenience in mind, the Revenue Department of Chhattisgarh has taken a significant decision to expedite revenue-related work. Under the leadership of Revenue Minister Shri Tank Ram Verma, the department has approved Rs. 1100 for each Patwari office to ensure availability of necessary resources. This approval will accelerate the resolution of revenue matters such as georeferencing, agristek, name transfer, partition, and demarcation, enabling work to be carried out with transparency.
Revenue Minister Shri Tank Ram Verma issued a clear warning, stating that the government is committed to prioritizing the resolution of public issues. While all necessary resources are being provided to revenue officers, it is now their responsibility to complete the resolution of revenue cases within the prescribed time limits. Negligence or delay in resolving revenue matters will not be tolerated under any circumstances. He further added that empowering Patwari offices will enable swift disposal of revenue work at both rural and urban levels.
The Revenue Patwari Association of Chhattisgarh has announced the end of its ongoing online boycott movement following the resolution of its key demands. The association expressed gratitude for the government’s prompt decision and assured that revenue matters will be resolved in a timely and transparent manner.
This positive initiative led by the Revenue Minister will not only provide relief to citizens but will also ensure technological improvements and transparency in departmental operations.
