Accelerating the Development of Abujhmad is Our Priority-CM Sai
Raipur, March 20
A group of 120 children from the remote forested region of Abujhmad in Narayanpur district met Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai, Assembly Speaker Dr. Raman Singh, Deputy Chief Minister Shri Vijay Sharma, and Forest Minister Shri Kedar Kashyap at the Legislative Assembly complex today. These children were part of the ‘Swami Vivekanand Youth Encouragement Scheme’ and were on an educational tour to the state capital, Raipur.
On this occasion, Chief Minister Shri Sai interacted with the children and assured them that the state government is fully committed to the holistic development of Abujhmad.
Chief Minister Shri Sai stated that Abujhmad has been deprived of development for many years, but his government is ensuring that basic facilities like education, health, roads, electricity, and communication reach every village in the region. He told the visiting children that their bright future is a top priority for the government.
Rapid Development Work in Abujhmad
Chief Minister Shri Sai further explained that the government has given top priority to road construction, installation of mobile towers, development of schools, and expansion of health services in Abujhmad’s villages. He mentioned that under the ‘Niyad Nella Nar’ scheme, rapid development of infrastructure is underway to connect Abujhmad with the mainstream. He also shared that during a recent meeting with Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Shri Amit Shah, extensive discussions were held about the development of Abujhmad and the entire Bastar region. Both the central and state governments are working together on concrete action plans to provide new opportunities for education and employment in the area.

On this occasion, Deputy Chief Minister Shri Vijay Sharma spoke with the children and expressed that the government wants every child in Abujhmad to receive quality education so that they can contribute to the development of their region and state. He encouraged the children, assuring them that the government is committed to supporting them in every possible way. Deputy Chief Minister Shri Vijay Sharma assured that the government is continuously working to provide better schools, hostels, health centers, and new employment opportunities in Abujhmad.
