Deputy CM Sao Attends Oath Ceremony of Nagar Panchayat Presidents and Councilors

Deputy Chief Minister Arun Sao today attended the oath-taking ceremony of the newly elected presidents and councilors of the Barela and Jarehgaon Nagar Panchayats in Mungeli district. MLA Shri Punnulal Mohle also participated in the ceremony. Mungeli’s SDM, Mrs. Parvati Patel, administered the oath to the newly elected President of Barela Nagar Panchayat, Shri Naresh Patel, and the President of Jarehgaon Nagar Panchayat, Mrs. Rupali Vedprakash Kashyap, along with the councilors of both Nagar Panchayats, in two separate ceremonies held at Barela and Jarehgaon.
While addressing the oath-taking ceremony as the chief guest, Deputy Chief Minister Shri Arun Sao congratulated and wished all the newly elected public representatives. He urged them to meet the expectations of the citizens through their work. He highlighted the responsibilities of the newly formed Nagar Panchayats and emphasized that it is the duty of all elected representatives to work with full dedication to fulfill the mandate given by the public.
Deputy Chief Minister Shri Sao assured that under the leadership of Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai, every possible support will be extended for the comprehensive development of Barela and Jarehgaon Nagar Panchayats. He stressed the need to make both Nagar Panchayats clean and beautiful, urging everyone to work together. He also requested the citizens to participate in large numbers in the program of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, scheduled for March 30 at Mohbhatha, Bilaspur.
MLA Shri Punnulal Mohle, in his address, mentioned that the people of the city voted impartially, electing the newly elected members. He expressed hope that the newly elected presidents and councilors of Barela and Jarehgaon Nagar Panchayats would live up to the expectations and aspirations of the citizens and contribute significantly to the development of the town. The ceremony was attended by several distinguished citizens, including Mungeli District Panchayat CEO Shri Prabhakar Pandey, District Panchayat President Shri Kshrikant Pandey, Vice President Mrs. Shanti Devcharan Bhaskar, and Mungeli Janpad Panchayat President Shri Ramkamal Singh.
