Government to Fully Support Local Bodies in Holistic Urban Development: Deputy CM Sao

Deputy Chief Minister and Minister for Urban Administration & Development, Arun Sao, attended the oath-taking ceremony of the newly elected President and Councilors of Bhatapara Municipal Council as the chief guest. Revenue Minister Tankaram Verma and MP Brijmohan Agrawal were present as distinguished guests at the event.
The ceremony, held at the Bhatapara Municipal Hall, was officiated by Additional Collector Abhishek Gupta, who administered the oath of office and secrecy to newly elected Municipal President Ashwani Sharma and the councilors.
Government’s Commitment to Urban Development
Congratulating the newly elected representatives, Deputy CM Arun Sao said,
“The people of Bhatapara have placed immense trust and blessings upon you. To honor their expectations, we must accelerate development initiatives in the city. Our goal is to transform Bhatapara into a beautiful, clean, and well-equipped city in line with the aspirations of its residents. The government will extend all necessary support to ensure continued urban progress.”
Collaboration for City Growth
Revenue Minister Tankaram Verma emphasized the need for collective efforts by the newly elected municipal president and councilors to drive urban growth.
MP Brijmohan Agrawal and former MLA Shivratan Sharma also addressed the gathering, highlighting the importance of progressive governance in urban areas.
The event witnessed the presence of several dignitaries, including former Assembly Speaker Gaurishankar Agrawal, former MLA Devji Bhai Patel, Dr. Sanam Jangde, and Balodabazar Municipal Council President Ashok Jain, along with a large number of public representatives and prominent citizens.
