CM Sai unveils government calender for 2025 on auspicious occasion of Makar Sankranti

Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai today unveiled the government calendar for the Silver Jubilee Year 2025 of Chhattisgarh at the Chief Minister’s residence on the auspicious occasion of Makar Sankranti. T
he cover page of the calendar depicts the motto ‘From Good Governance to Prosperity’ along with photos of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai. The annual calendar of the Chhattisgarh government showcases the positive changes brought about in the lives of the people of Chhattisgarh through the ambitious schemes of the state government.
Agriculture Minister Shri Ramvichar Netam and Lundra MLA Shri Prabodh Minj, Chief Minister’s Secretary Shri P. Dayanand were present on the occasion of the launch.
On this occasion, Chief Minister Shri Sai said, “This calendar, based on the motto of ‘Good Governance for Prosperity’, is a symbol of our government’s priorities and achievements. In this, we have included the state’s welfare schemes, which will take Chhattisgarh to new heights of prosperity and development.” Extending his greetings on the festival of Makar Sankranti, he said that this year will be a golden year for the prosperity and happiness of our state.
New QR code features make the calendar special
Some new features have been incorporated into the calendar for the Silver Jubilee Year 2025, making it more attractive. Each month in the calendar has a QR code, which can be used to listen to the Chief Minister’s video message based on the special occasions of that month.
Along with this, new messages and information about the achievements of the government will be continuously available. The QR code for each month of the calendar will be active only for that month. Along with this, each page of the calendar also provides information about key facts related to Chhattisgarh.
Each month of the calendar will showcase a glimpse of the government’s ambitious schemes
In the January month of the government calendar, a picture of the pilgrims who returned after a free visit to Ayodhya and Kashi through the Chhattisgarh government’s Shri Ramlala Darshan Yojana has been shown. A large number of people from the state are benefiting from this scheme to get the darshan of Lord Ram.
Similarly, in the month of February, a picture of the grandeur of Rajim Kumbh Mela has been shared. While in the month of March, there is a picture showing the happiness of 70 lakh mothers and sisters whose lives have been transformed by the Mahatari Vandana Yojana. In the month of April of the calendar, there is a picture of the change in the lives of people living in forest areas due to the collection of tendu leaves. The government has increased the remuneration rate for tendu leaf collectors from Rs 4,000 to Rs 5,500.
In the month of May, there is a picture of the Veer Narayan Singh Shram Anna Yojana, which is being run to honor workers. Through this scheme, food is being made available to workers for Rs 5. In the month of June, a picture of school children has been shared. It has also been mentioned that the National Education Policy 2020 has been implemented in Chhattisgarh and education is being imparted in 18 local languages.
Similarly, in the month of July, a picture of the prosperity of Chhattisgarh farmers has been displayed while providing information about the Kisan Unnati Yojana, which is being run for the prosperity of farmers. In the month of August, a picture of the Chief Minister with women security personnel deployed in the defense of the country is shown. In the month of September, there is a picture of happy beneficiaries whose dream of a pucca house has been fulfilled through the Pradhan Mantri Janman Awas Yojana and Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. Through these two schemes, housing is being provided to specially backward tribes and poor families. In the month of October, the changing picture of the prosperity of Bastar division has been shared. In this picture of the Bastar Olympics, youth trying their hand at archery are dreaming of a secure future. Similarly, in the month of November, the glory of the paddy procurement festival has been shown. In the month of December, the commitment to develop basic facilities in remote tribal-dominated rural areas and establish peace in the region through the government’s Niyadd Nellanar Yojana has been demonstrated.
