State government to organise state-level Shramik Sammelan
Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai will disburse Rs. 49.43 crores to over 57,000 registered workers and their family members

A state-level Shramik Sammelan will be held on September 17, 2024, coinciding with Lord Vishwakarma Jayanti. Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai will disburse Rs. 49.43 crore to over 57,000 registered workers and their family members through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) under various schemes. The event will take place at the Agriculture College, Indira Gandhi Krishi Vishwavidyalaya campus in Jora, Raipur, starting at 1 PM. Labour Minister Shri Lakhanlal Dewangan will preside over the event.
Chhattisgarh Assembly Speaker Dr. Raman Singh, Deputy Chief Ministers Shri Arun Sao and Shri Vijay Sharma, Forest Minister Shri Kedar Kashyap, Agriculture Minister Shri Ramvichar Netam, Food Minister Shri Dayal Das Baghel, Health Minister Shri Shyam Bihari Jaiswal, Finance Minister Shri O.P. Choudhary, Women and Child Development Minister Smt Laxmi Rajwade, Revenue Minister Shri Tankram Verma, Lok Sabha MP Shri Brijmohan Agrawal, MLAs Shri Rajesh Munat, Shri Anuj Sharma, Shri Moti Lal Sahu, Shri Purandar Mishra, Guru Shri Khuswant Saheb, and Shri Indrakumar Sahu will attend the event.
The funds will be distributed under various welfare boards, which include Rs. 38.37 crore to 47,726 construction workers under the Chhattisgarh Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board, Rs. 9.86 crore to 6,873 workers under the Chhattisgarh Unorganised Workers State Social Security Board, and Rs. 1.19 crore to 2,496 workers under the Chhattisgarh Labour Welfare Board.
