Youth Showcase Chhattisgarh’s Cultural Heritage

On the first day of the Chhattisgarh State Youth Festival held at Science College Ground in Raipur, a play titled ‘Main Ayodhya Hoon’ (I am Ayodhya), based on the struggle for the construction of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya, was staged. This vibrant presentation captivated everyone. Along with this, a captivating laser show presented a glimpse of India’s development journey over the past decade.
The musical dramatic presentation ‘Main Ayodhya Hoon’, organized on the first day of the Chhattisgarh State Youth Festival 2024-25, acquainted the audience with the historical, religious, and cultural glory of the city of Ayodhya.
The glorious saga of the construction of a grand temple in Ayodhya, the birthplace of Lord Rama, and the consecration of the idol of Ramlala was brought to life in this program. Renowned artist Pradeep Gupta and his team from Mumbai presented the theatrical performance.
In this grand presentation, it was presented as a journey from Satyuga to Kalyuga.
Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai, Speaker Dr. Raman Singh, and other guests present enjoyed the program. The musical dialogues, captivating dance, and excellent acting overwhelmed the audience.
Youth Showcased Cultural Heritage
The youth also showcased the splendor of Chhattisgarhi culture at the Chhattisgarh State Youth Festival. Renowned folk singer Ms. Aru Sahu presented soulful Chhattisgarhi folk songs. In addition, colorful performances of Gaura-Gouri, Raut Nacha, and Panthi songs and dances were presented at the program. Young artists presented an attractive performance of Panthi dance based on the messages of the famous saint Baba Guru Ghasi Das Ji of Chhattisgarh. The audience appreciated the Dadaria presented by Ms. Aru Sahu. Along with organizing storytelling, painting, extempore speech, and poetry recitation for the youth in the Youth Festival, a science fair was also organized. A development exhibition based on the achievements of the Chhattisgarh government along with a quiz competition for the youth is also being organized in the Youth Festival. Apart from this, an exhibition of handicrafts, textiles, and agricultural products has also been set up.
Attractive Laser Show
The development works and public welfare schemes and programs undertaken in a decade under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and the public welfare schemes and achievements of Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev in one year of good governance in Chhattisgarh were showcased through a laser show.
Second Day Attractions
On the second day of the three-day Chhattisgarh Youth Festival, on January 13, there will be a dialogue between the youth and ‘Super 30 fame’ Shri Anand Kumar. Along with this, there will be a presentation by the ‘Aisa Jadoo Hai Mere Bastar Mein’ fame Dayra Band.
