Youth of Bijapur Raise Their Powerful Voice in the Chhattisgarh Assembly Premises – ‘Determined to Free Ourselves from Naxalism and Move Forward on the Path of Development-CM Sai

Today, the youth of Bijapur district, a remote region of Chhattisgarh, made history in the temple of democracy – the Assembly premises.
These young representatives from Bijapur, who had come on an educational tour under the state’s ‘Swami Vivekanand Yuva Protsahan Yojana’, gathered in front of Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai and expressed their determination: “We want to see our villages, our district, and our state free from Naxalism, and we wish to be part of the mainstream development to build a bright future for ourselves.”
On this historic occasion, Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai appreciated the strong will of the youth and said, “Your resolve is our resolve. If the youth of the region decide, with all of our cooperation, we will soon eliminate the darkness of Naxalism and lead Chhattisgarh to new heights of prosperity and development.”
‘Niyad Nella Nar Yojana’ Brings New Light of Development
The Chief Minister assured the youth that the state government is working rapidly through the ‘Niyad Nella Nar Yojana’ to bring basic facilities to their villages. He explained that with the continuous opening of security camps and the growing reach of administration in remote areas, the Naxal influence is shrinking, which is now allowing development to accelerate.
Shri Sai also mentioned that during his recent visit to Delhi, he had important discussions with Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Shri Amit Shah regarding the development of Bijapur and other areas of the Bastar division. He said that both the central and state governments are fully committed to the region’s development. “Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and Home Minister Shri Amit Shah are continuously monitoring the situation in the state’s remote areas and are regularly reviewing the development work being carried out there,” he added.
The Chief Minister assured the youth that the government is prioritizing plans to install mobile towers, build paved roads, provide electricity to every home, and expand transportation services in their villages. He stated that rapid progress is being made in these areas so that rural residents in remote regions can also enjoy urban facilities.
A Historic Day for the Youth of Bijapur – Experience of the Assembly and the Capital
For the youth from various villages in Bijapur district, this day was nothing short of a historic experience. During their educational tour in the state capital Raipur, they visited the railway station, the Chhattisgarh Assembly, and the Vanvasi Kalyan Ashram.
Upon their arrival in the capital, the youth toured the Assembly premises and watched the proceedings from the visitor’s gallery. They were thrilled to see the debates and policy discussions being held on the democratic platform for the first time.
During this visit, Deputy Chief Minister Shri Vijay Sharma, Forest Minister Shri Kedar Kashyap, Health Minister Shri Shyam Bihari Jaiswal, MLAs Shri Dharm Kaushik, Anuj Sharma, and Smt. Lata Usendi also met and interacted with the youth.
‘The Government is with You’ – Assurance from the Deputy Chief Minister
Deputy Chief Minister Shri Vijay Sharma interacted in detail with the youth about the situation in their villages and assured them that the state government is fully committed to providing all essential services like paved roads, electricity, clean drinking water, rations, healthcare, and housing in their villages.

On this occasion, Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai delivered the message that education is the key to development. “When the youth move forward in the right direction, no force can hinder the development of the region,” he said. He added that the youth of Chhattisgarh are now ready for change. The strong voice of the youth from Bijapur has brought a new light to the entire state.
With a commitment to quickly fulfill the vision of a Naxal-free and developed Chhattisgarh, Chief Minister Shri Sai told the youth of Bijapur, “We are with you, and we are making every effort to shape the development of your villages and your bright future.” He called on the youth to be part of this change, realize their dreams, and take Chhattisgarh to new heights. He urged the youth to make the most of government schemes and said, “Together, we will make Chhattisgarh a Naxal-free, developed, and prosperous state.”
