Raipur, 20 June
During his visit to Jashpur, Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai had a heartfelt interaction with the public at the Kunkuri Rest House. He stated that yoga is an invaluable gift from India to humanity. Yoga is essential for our health, he emphasized, noting that there is at least one beneficial yogic posture for the treatment of every ailment. If we practice yoga regularly, we can prevent diseases and lead a healthy life.
Chief Minister Shri Sai said that yoga should become an integral part of our lives. Yoga is not merely a form of exercise; it is a holistic lifestyle that provides physical, mental, and spiritual balance. He stressed that by dedicating even a little time each day to yoga, we can gain long-term health benefits.
He expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi for elevating yoga to a prestigious position on the global stage. Due to the Prime Minister’s efforts, the entire world now understands the importance of yoga. After PM Modi proposed the idea of a Yoga Day at the United Nations, June 21 was declared International Yoga Day.
