Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai today visited NAMTECH in Gandhinagar, Gujarat \u2014 a pioneering institution renowned for its modern and innovative approach to teaching manufacturing, engineering, and technology.<\/p>\n
During the visit, Chief Minister Sai remarked that Gujarat, the sacred land of Mahatma Gandhi and Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, has set an inspiring example for the entire nation in the realms of development, self-reliance, and innovation. He stated that similar institutions should be established in Chhattisgarh to provide young people access to modern technology and industrial training. The Chief Minister emphasized that his government is working swiftly to connect the state\u2019s youth with self-employment, technical knowledge, and industry-oriented opportunities.<\/p>\n
Chief Minister Sai toured the institute\u2019s advanced laboratories, modern classrooms, and technical facilities, observing the institution\u2019s unique teaching methodology. He interacted with students to understand how they are gaining practical, hands-on experience through projects and machine-based learning. He also discussed their academic experiences and future goals.<\/p>\n
Highlighting Chhattisgarh\u2019s upcoming reforms, the Chief Minister announced plans to modernize the state\u2019s ITI (Industrial Training Institute) colleges. These upgrades will enable students to learn cutting-edge skills in smart manufacturing, robotics, and automation. \u201cIn the coming years,\u201d he said, \u201cour colleges will be equipped with advanced machinery and digital training facilities so that students not only study but also acquire real-world, work-ready skills.\u201d<\/p>\n
NAMTECH administrators briefed the Chief Minister on Gujarat\u2019s successful education model that connects multiple institutions through an integrated network, enhancing both quality and reach of technical learning. Under this system, students graduate with the expertise to directly contribute to industrial workplaces. The management expressed willingness to collaborate with Chhattisgarh in implementing a similar framework, proposing an interlinked network of ITIs where specialized institutions would serve as centers of excellence, transferring knowledge and training to others.<\/p>\n
Once implemented, this model is expected to train over 10,000 youths annually in emerging technologies and modern industrial practices. Students will gain experiential learning, mastering automation systems, modern machinery, and advanced engineering methods \u2014 significantly improving their employability and preparing them for large-scale industrial projects across the country.<\/p>\n
Chief Minister Sai underscored that Chhattisgarh\u2019s contribution will be vital in realizing the vision of Viksit Bharat 2047 (Developed India 2047). \u201cOur youth are the greatest strength of Chhattisgarh,\u201d he said. \u201cWe are preparing a generation that combines innovative thinking with modern technology \u2014 young minds who will lead both a developed Chhattisgarh and a developed India.\u201d<\/p>\n
