Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai joined the gathering at Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Auditorium in Raipur to listen to the 128th episode of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi\u2019s widely loved monthly radio address, _*Mann Ki Baat.*_ Describing the episode as deeply inspiring, Chief Minister Shri Sai said that Mann Ki Baat has evolved into a national ritual that awakens and unites the country\u2019s collective consciousness. \u201cIn every episode, the Prime Minister speaks to the nation as a guardian would to his family, guiding, encouraging and reminding us of our shared responsibility,\u201d he observed.<\/p>\n
Chief Minister Shri Sai noted that Mann Ki Baat has become a window through which innovation, people\u2019s participation and exemplary grassroots efforts from every corner of India are brought to national attention. \u201cThrough this platform, individuals dedicated to nation-building receive the recognition they truly deserve,\u201d he said. Referring to today\u2019s address, he highlighted the Prime Minister\u2019s appreciation of the record rise in foodgrain production, advanced methods of honey processing in several states, increased honey cultivation, naval empowerment, the establishment of the Naval Museum, the significance of nature farming, as well as the first-ever public recitation of the Gita in Saudi Arabia and the grand celebrations of Gita Mahotsav in Latvia and other countries \u2014 all of which, he said, \u201coffer inspiration to every citizen.\u201d<\/p>\n
Emphasising that Chhattisgarh is well-positioned to take nature farming to new heights, Shri Sai said that farmers and young entrepreneurs in the state can achieve remarkable success in this field. He added that India\u2019s rising foodgrain output includes a significant contribution from Chhattisgarh.<\/p>\n
Reflecting on the Prime Minister\u2019s address, the Chief Minister said today\u2019s episode was rich with valuable insights. The Prime Minister spoke of Gen-Z innovators using space technology to test drones in Mars-like conditions, the inspirational journey from the unsuccessful Chandrayaan-2 to the triumphant Chandrayaan-3, the commendable performance of India\u2019s women athletes, the grand Gita Mahotsav in Kurukshetra, the 3D Light & Sound Museum based on the Mahabharata, the commissioning of the indigenous warship INS Mahe, his recent visit to Bhutan, the fourth edition of the Kashi Tamil Sangamam in Varanasi, winter tourism and winter sports, and innovations across the country under the “Vocal for Local” movement, alongside numerous environmental protection efforts.<\/p>\n
Speaker of the Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly Dr. Raman Singh said that Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi is among the world\u2019s most admired leaders, and through Mann Ki Baat he shares cultural, social and strategic insights with the people in a way that is accessible and transformative. \u201cHis experiences teach us how to take the local to the global,\u201d he remarked, noting the special significance of listening to Mann Ki Baat on a day when the Prime Minister himself was present in Raipur.<\/p>\n
Prime Minister Modi, in today\u2019s episode, recalled the special programme held in the Central Hall on Constitution Day (26 November), and spoke of the nationwide celebrations marking 150 years of Vande Mataram. He also mentioned the raising of the Dharmadhwaja atop the Ram Temple in Ayodhya on November 25, and the inauguration of the \u2018Panchajanya\u2019 memorial at Jyotisar in Kurukshetra on the same day.<\/p>\n
The Prime Minister described the opening of the world\u2019s largest LEAP Engine MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul) facility in Hyderabad as a major leap in India\u2019s aerospace capabilities. He highlighted the induction of INS Mahe into the Indian Navy and the launch of Skyroot\u2019s \u2018Infinity Campus\u2019 as milestones in India\u2019s burgeoning space ecosystem \u2014 symbols of India\u2019s innovation, ambition and youthful energy. He also announced that India has achieved a historic feat in agriculture by producing a record 357 million tonnes of foodgrains \u2014 100 million tons more than a decade ago. Celebrating India\u2019s sporting excellence, he noted that the recent announcement granting India the hosting rights of the Commonwealth Games is a moment of national pride.<\/p>\n
He also referred to the enthusiastic international participation in the Gita Mahotsav at Brahmasarovar, Kurukshetra. People from several European and Central Asian nations were drawn to the event, inspired by the Bhagavad Gita. Earlier this month, Saudi Arabia witnessed the first-ever public recitation of the Gita, while the festival in Latvia saw artists from Latvia, Estonia, Lithuania and Algeria taking part with great enthusiasm.<\/p>\n
