Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai described this accomplishment as a matter of immense pride for Chhattisgarh, stating that the state\u2019s identity is being strengthened on the global stage, while its reputation in the fields of nutrition, quality, and prosperity continues to reach new heights.<\/p>\n
\u201cThis achievement is an extension of Hon\u2019ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi\u2019s visionary campaign against malnutrition, which is now making an impact at the global level,\u201d the Chief Minister said.<\/p>\n
He added that this milestone opens new opportunities for farmers, millers, and exporters of Chhattisgarh in the international market and will significantly promote value-added agricultural exports. \u201cIt is a commendable step forward toward the vision of Atmanirbhar Bharat (Self-Reliant India) and Atmanirbhar Chhattisgarh,\u201d he emphasized.<\/p>\n
Fortified Rice Kernel (FRK) contains essential nutrients such as iron, folic acid, and vitamin B12, which enhance both food security and public nutrition. Significantly, Union Minister of Commerce and Industry Piyush Goyal shared the information on his official social media handle, announcing that the first consignment of 12 metric tons of Fortified Rice Kernel from Chhattisgarh has been exported to Costa Rica.<\/p>\n
