Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai today participated in the Shri Shri Raneshwar Ramchandi Temple Consecration Ceremony organized by the Kolta society in Jhagarpur village of Lailunga development block in Raigarh district. The program was held on the campus of Swami Atmanand Government Hindi Medium Higher Secondary School, Jhagarpur, where society officials traditionally welcomed Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai with a garland of elephant flowers (gajmala) and a tilak.
\n\u200bOn the occasion of the consecration of the Shri Shri Raneshwar Ramchandi Temple, Chief Minister Shri Sai offered prayers at the feet of Mata Ramchandi and wished for the happiness, prosperity, and well-being of the people of the state. He said that he felt a sense of spiritual peace upon visiting this sacred land of Jhagarpur. He added that this temple is not only a symbol of faith but also a strong representation of the cultural consciousness and unity of the society. The Chief Minister stated that the soul of India resides in its culture and traditions, and that God resides where women are respected. Calling parents the true God, he said that if parents are pleased, all gods and goddesses are pleased. The Chief Minister urged everyone to maintain respect and a spirit of service towards the elders of their homes.
\n\u200bChief Minister Shri Sai said that the state government is working with a resolve for good governance, transparency, and development. For this, e-governance has been started, and continuous action is being taken against corruption. He informed that most of the guarantees of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi have been fulfilled within 18 to 19 months of the government taking office. Farmers were given two years’ outstanding bonus, the paddy procurement limit was increased from 15 quintals to 21 quintals per acre, and the Minimum Support Price (MSP) was fixed at \u20b93100 per quintal.
\n\u200bHe said that under the Mahatari Vandan Yojana, financial assistance of \u20b91,000 per month is being given to women. 18 lakh houses have been sanctioned under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY). Schemes like the Landless Laborer Assistance Scheme, Tendu leaf procurement at \u20b95,500 per standard bag, Ramlala Darshan Yojana, and Chief Minister Tirth Darshan Yojana are being run in the public interest.
\n\u200bChief Minister Shri Sai said that Chhattisgarh is a resource-rich state, and with public cooperation and the right use of resources, “we are writing a new chapter of development.” The slogan ‘Chhattisgarhiya Sabse Badhiya’ (Chhattisgarhi is the best) is not just a slogan, but our work culture.
\n\u200bChief Minister Shri Sai mentioned that Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi today launched two major schemes with an outlay of \u20b935,440 crore \u2013 the Pradhan Mantri Dhan-Dhan Krishi Yojana and the Mission for Self-Reliance in the Pulses Sector. These schemes are historical steps towards increasing the income of the country’s farmers and making the agriculture sector self-reliant. The Chief Minister stated that continuous efforts are being made in the state for the strengthening of irrigation facilities, increase in agricultural production, and rural prosperity. He informed that new transparency and accountability have been brought to the governance system by improving the land registry process. He said that our objective is not just to make schemes but to ensure their benefits reach the last person. The trust of the people is our greatest asset.
\n\u200bChief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai announced \u20b925 lakh for the construction of a community hall in Jhagarpur, \u20b925 lakh for a community hall for the Kolta society at Lailunga development block headquarters, \u20b950 crore for the construction of the Kunjaara\u2013Tolge\u2013Milupara road, \u20b92.5 crore for the construction of a stop dam cum causeway in the river between Ward No. 5 Patelpara, \u20b910 crore for the construction of a bridge\/culvert on the Kharun river from Lailunga\u2013Kunjaara to Gamekela, and the construction of a new building for the Government Girls High School in Ward No. 11. The Chief Minister said that the government is dedicated to the welfare of every section of society. The blessings and cooperation of the Kolta society have always been a source of inspiration.
\n\u200bFinance Minister Shri O. P. Choudhary said that the state is fortunate to have the leadership of such a public servant who is constantly working for the welfare of every section. He said that just 12 days after assuming office, the Chief Minister paid a bonus of \u20b93,716 crore to 13 lakh farmers. The limit for paddy procurement was fixed at 21 quintals per acre and the price at \u20b93,100 per quintal. More than 18 lakh poor families in the state are receiving benefits under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana.
\n\u200bThe Finance Minister said that Chhattisgarh is the land of Mata Kaushalya, and Lord Shri Ram is the nephew (bhanja) of this land. This is our cultural identity and pride. He said that Chief Minister Shri Sai’s focus is on the all-round development of every region of the state. The Chief Minister is fully aware of the needs of Lailunga and its surrounding areas, and all development-related works in the area will be completed in a phased manner.
\n\u200bThe welcome address for the program was given by District Panchayat Member Shri Brijesh Gupta, who highlighted the historical traditions of the Kolta society and the unity of its 120 sub-castes. At the conclusion of the program, Shri Ratulal Gupta expressed gratitude to the Chief Minister and all the guests.
