The event will be presided over by Minister for Social Welfare and Women &#038; Child Development, Smt. Laxmi Rajwade.<\/p>\n<p>Distinguished guests at the programme will include Chhattisgarh Ministers Shri Kedar Kashyap, Shri Tankram Verma and Shri Guru Khushwant Saheb; MP Shri Brijmohan Agrawal; MLAs Shri Rajesh Munat, Shri Purandar Mishra, Shri Sunil Soni, Shri Motilal Sahu, Shri Indra Kumar Sahu and Shri Anuj Sharma; along with Mayor Smt. Meenal Choubey and other public representatives.<\/p>\n<p>The state-level event will feature special initiatives dedicated to honouring senior citizens, strengthening their welfare, health, social security, and encouraging their active role in society. Cultural performances, experience-sharing sessions, health check-up camps, and motivational talks will also be part of the programme.<\/p>\n<p>Organised by the District Administration and the Department of Social Welfare, the programme aims to acknowledge the invaluable contributions of senior citizens, felicitate them for their role in different spheres of life, and promote greater social participation. On this occasion, senior citizens will be honoured for their contributions, and awareness about their rights and welfare will be highlighted.
