During his visit to South Korea, Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai extended an invitation to ModernTech Corp., a leading green mobility solutions company, and UNECORAIL, a major Korean rail maintenance solutions provider, to invest and collaborate in Chhattisgarh. The Chief Minister said the state government\u2019s priority is to promote clean energy, build sustainable transport infrastructure, and strengthen the railway network. He expressed confidence that partnerships with these two companies would give fresh impetus to Chhattisgarh\u2019s clean energy journey and logistics backbone.<\/p>\n
CM Vishnu Deo Sai invited ModernTech Corp. to set up an advanced EV charging manufacturing unit in the state, proposing that the project would bring Chhattisgarh recognition in the fields of clean energy and sustainable transport infrastructure.<\/p>\n
Highlighting the alignment of the state\u2019s Industrial Policy 2024\u201330 with green energy promotion and carbon reduction goals, the Chief Minister said:
\n\u201cSetting up an EV charging manufacturing unit in Chhattisgarh will not only boost clean energy targets but also provide citizens with better and modern transport infrastructure. This initiative will prove to be a major step towards gifting future generations a clean environment.\u201d<\/p>\n
He underlined that the investment would generate large-scale employment for local youth, foster green technology skill development, and accelerate the growth of sustainable transport networks across rural and urban areas. CM Sai expressed confidence that ModernTech Corp.\u2019s experience and expertise would significantly advance Chhattisgarh\u2019s energy transition journey.<\/p>\n
Officials present at the programme informed that the proposed project would generate thousands of direct and indirect jobs while boosting local component manufacturing units. This, they said, would establish Chhattisgarh as an emerging national hub in the field of green energy.<\/p>\n
CM Sai assured representatives of ModernTech Corp. that the state government would extend all possible support to investors. \u201cProcesses have been simplified and made transparent so that investors can implement their projects swiftly and without hurdles,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
During his South Korea visit, CM Sai also met Mr. Dong Pil Park, CEO of UNECORAIL, the country\u2019s leading rail maintenance solutions company.<\/p>\n
In the meeting, detailed discussions were held on opportunities for local manufacturing, technology transfer, and railway infrastructure development. The Chief Minister said that, given Chhattisgarh\u2019s rapidly growing industrial and logistics requirements, advanced solutions in the railway sector were of utmost importance.<\/p>\n
CM Sai expressed confidence that UNECORAIL\u2019s expertise would help strengthen the railway network, improve maintenance systems, and reinforce the state\u2019s logistics backbone. He added that this would not only accelerate industrial activity but also provide safe and convenient transportation for the public.<\/p>\n
The Chief Minister emphasised that the government is making clean energy and sustainable development central to its policy framework, keeping in mind the aspirations of the people of Chhattisgarh.
