Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai today participated in the oath-taking ceremony of the newly elected state office bearers of the Satnami community, held at Atal Bihari Vajpayee Auditorium, Medical College Campus, Raipur. Extending greetings and best wishes to the new office bearers, the Chief Minister said that education is the mantra for social development. He emphasized the need for collective efforts to ensure the holistic progress of the community.<\/p>\n
CM Sai noted that during the tenure of former Chief Minister Dr. Raman Singh, a Jaitkham taller than the Qutub Minar was erected at Girodpuri Dham, alongside numerous development projects. He said this monumental structure has not only enhanced the pride of the community but has also brought global recognition to the Satnami tradition.<\/p>\n
He added that under the call of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to make India a developed nation by 2047, the state government has resolved to transform Chhattisgarh into a developed state within the same timeline. \u201cWith the blessings of Baba Guru Ghasidas, we are confident of fulfilling this resolution,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
On the occasion, the Chief Minister announced a grant of \u20b91 crore for the construction of a multi-purpose building for the Satnami community in Raipur. Additionally, he approved \u20b950 lakh to complete the remaining works of Madwa Mahal at Girodpuri. He also declared that meritorious students being honoured at the event would be provided a cash incentive of \u20b95,000 each by the state government. Students who excelled in Classes 10 and 12 were felicitated during the ceremony.<\/p>\n
Speaker of the Legislative Assembly and former CM Dr. Raman Singh extended his congratulations to the newly elected office bearers and said that when leaders of any community work with commitment, integrity, and honesty, it builds trust and unity among members, leading to collective progress. He said that teamwork helps drive forward constructive initiatives. He also congratulated the newly elected President Mr. L.L. Kosle for initiating the construction of a grand Dharamshala at Girodpuri Dham.<\/p>\n
Dr. Singh said that it is through the blessings of Baba Guru Ghasidas that he has had the opportunity to serve in public life for 40 years as an MLA, MP, Minister, Chief Minister, and currently as Speaker. He emphasized that Baba\u2019s message of “Mankhe-Mankhe Ek Barabar” (All human beings are equal), the white flag, and white attire represent peace in Chhattisgarh. He added that the traditional Panthi dance promotes peace not only within the state but also globally. He expressed confidence that with collective participation and Baba\u2019s blessings, Chhattisgarh will become the most developed state in the country.<\/p>\n
Deputy Chief Minister Mr. Vijay Sharma also congratulated the newly elected office bearers and said that social unity and education are two fundamental pillars for community advancement. He stressed the need to encourage children\u2019s education and suggested that meritorious students should be honoured every year. He expressed hope that the Satnami community would ascend to new heights in the coming years.<\/p>\n
Food Minister Mr. Dayal Das Baghel also congratulated the new office bearers, stating that they shoulder great responsibility in empowering the community. He emphasized the importance of further strengthening the community\u2019s efforts in the field of education. He also urged the community to make strides in industry, trade, and self-employment. The minister informed that a national seminar would be organized at Girodpuri Dham after \u2018Guru Darshan\u2019, with the special presence of spiritual gurus from the Satnami community across the country. He invited everyone present to attend the national seminar.<\/p>\n
The event was also addressed by MP Smt. Kamlesh Jangde, MLA Mr. Punnulal Mohle, Guru Khushwant Saheb, and Progressive Satnami Samaj\u2019s newly elected President Mr. L.L. Kosle.<\/p>\n
The oath-taking ceremony was graced by MLAs Mr. Domanlal Korsewada, Ms. Uttari Jangde, Ms. Sheshraj Harvansh, Ms. Kavita Pran Lahare, Mr. Kamlesh Das from Uttar Pradesh, Mr. Madan Satnami from Assam, Mr. Shyam Das from Bihar, Mr. Suraj Bharti from Odisha, President of Marwar Satnami Samaj Mr. Mahendra Satnami from Rajasthan, Mr. Kishan Banjare from Madhya Pradesh, and Dr. Jagjeevan Khare from Delhi, among many other dignitaries, spiritual leaders, and senior office bearers of the Satnami community.<\/p>\n
