As part of the third phase of Su-Shasan Tihar (Good Governance Festival), Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai visited Dokda village in his home district, Jashpur, to review the implementation of government schemes. He landed by helicopter and attended the Samadhan Shivir (Grievance Redressal Camp), where he examined actions taken on applications received and personally interacted with beneficiaries of the PM Awas Yojana and other schemes.<\/p>\n
Addressing the villagers, the Chief Minister said, \u201cI am a son of your village and home. It is my privilege to be elected Chief Minister by your blessings. It is my solemn pledge to lead the state on the path of development.\u201d<\/p>\n
He added, \u201cOur government was formed with your blessings, and we have been working for development over the past one and a half years. In the very first cabinet meeting, we approved 1.8 million houses under the PM Awas Yojana. Continuous housing development is taking place across the state. Prime Minister Narendra Modi handed over keys to 300,000 beneficiaries in Bilaspur, and Union Panchayati Raj Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan did the same for 51,000 in Ambikapur. Those still living in unfinished homes need not worry\u2014everyone listed under SECC and Awas Plus will receive homes. A significant budget has been allocated this year for PM Awas.\u201d<\/p>\n
The CM detailed other initiatives fulfilled under government guarantees, including:<\/p>\n
Buying paddy at \u20b93,100\/quintal and up to 21 quintals per acre<\/p>\n
Clearing two years’ worth of pending bonuses to farmers<\/p>\n
Providing financial assistance to landless agricultural workers<\/p>\n
Monthly \u20b91,000 support to women under the Mahtari Vandan Yojana<\/p>\n
Increasing tendu leaf wage from \u20b94,000 to \u20b95,500 per standard bag<\/p>\n
Launching the Ram Lalla Darshan Yojana and Mukhyamantri Tirth Yojana to send citizens aged 60+ on free pilgrimages across India<\/p>\n
Shri Sai also emphasized administrative reforms, stating:<\/p>\n
Land registry and mutation processes have been simplified<\/p>\n
Atal Digital Service Centers have been launched in 1,460 gram panchayats to offer banking and public services locally<\/p>\n
Farmers and villagers no longer need to travel far for services<\/p>\n
Announcing New Projects for Dokda:
\nCalling Dokda his home village, CM Sai declared several new initiatives:<\/p>\n
A new college for higher education<\/p>\n
Upgrading the Primary Health Centre (PHC)<\/p>\n
Construction of a mini stadium<\/p>\n
Renovation of Vanvasi Kalyan Ashram and the ancient Shiva temple premises<\/p>\n
Beautification of Doryamunda pond<\/p>\n
\u20b92 million grant for the renovation of the old community hall<\/p>\n
Distribution of Keys, Materials, and Financial Assistance:
\nAt the Samadhan Shivir, CM Sai handed over:<\/p>\n
Keys to PM Awas beneficiaries<\/p>\n
Pension approval letters, ration cards, and Kisan Credit Cards (KCC)<\/p>\n
Fishing nets and ice boxes from the fisheries department<\/p>\n
Vegetable seed kits from horticulture<\/p>\n
Job cards under MGNREGA<\/p>\n
Ayushman health cards, food boxes, and materials under various welfare schemes<\/p>\n
Mudra loan checks to women’s SHGs and cricket kits to local youth<\/p>\n
Honoring Academic Achievers:
\nThe CM honored high-performing students from Jashpur who topped the state board exams:<\/p>\n
Neha Ekka (5th in the state in Grade 12)<\/p>\n
Naman Khutia (1st in the state in Grade 10)<\/p>\n
Effective Redressal of Grievances:
\nIn Dokda alone, 3,258 applications were received at the Samadhan Shivir, most of which were resolved. In Jashpur district overall, 128,000 out of 132,000 applications have been addressed through 54 cluster-level camps. The CM praised the administration for this performance and stressed that he and his team\u2014including ministers, MPs, MLAs, and senior officers\u2014are personally visiting remote areas to inspect implementation. \u201cWherever deficiencies are noticed, I am noting them and instructing officials to rectify them,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
\u201cFulfilling Modi ji\u2019s guarantees\u201d:
