Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai attended the citizens\u2019 felicitation ceremony organized as part of the National Executive Council Meeting of Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP), held at the Krishi Mandapam Auditorium of Indira Gandhi Agricultural University in Raipur.<\/p>\n
Addressing the gathering, the Chief Minister said, “Youth power is nation power.” He highlighted that India has the largest youth population in the world, and their role will be pivotal in transforming India into a developed nation by 2047.<\/p>\n
The CM praised ABVP as the world\u2019s largest student organization and expressed happiness that Chhattisgarh had the honor of hosting its three-day national meeting. Emphasizing the importance of education, he said, \u201cWithout education, life is incomplete; education is the foundation of development.\u201d He added that Chhattisgarh now houses top national institutions like IIT, AIIMS, IIIT, and National Law University, and that the New Education Policy is actively being implemented in the state to also promote employment-oriented learning.<\/p>\n
He mentioned initiatives like “Prayas”, an institute providing quality education to school students, with many successfully cracking competitive exams. The CM noted that the Tribal Youth Hostel in New Delhi\u2014established for civil services aspirants\u2014has been expanded to 200 seats, and Nalanda campuses are being developed across the state to provide students with a peaceful study environment.<\/p>\n
The CM also spoke about the state\u2019s innovative industrial policy, which is drawing national attention. Under this policy, investment and employment opportunities are growing, particularly in semiconductor chip manufacturing and AI data centers, both launched in Chhattisgarh. He stressed that the future of youth will not be compromised, citing that PSC recruitment corruption cases are under CBI investigation.<\/p>\n
He further said that during the ongoing Good Governance Festival (Su-Shasan Tihar), his government is actively seeking public feedback on its 1.5 years of work. Now in its third phase, the festival involves state-wide outreach. The first phase gathered citizen applications; the second phase resolved issues via officials; and the third involves direct engagement with the people.<\/p>\n
The CM reiterated that most of PM Modi\u2019s guarantees have been fulfilled within this short tenure. He highlighted the success of PM Awas Yojana, under which thousands of homes have been sanctioned, and Mahatari Vandan Yojana, benefitting 70 lakh women, each receiving \u20b91000 per month. He shared real-life stories from beneficiaries in Narayanpur, where one woman used the funds to buy a sewing machine and now earns \u20b94,000\u2013\u20b95,000 per month, while another started a small grocery shop.<\/p>\n
He noted that Chhattisgarh is the first state in India to launch a Department of Good Governance and Convergence. Government functioning is now fully transparent, with a shift toward digitization, including e-file systems that eliminate avenues for corruption.<\/p>\n
