Chief Minister Mr. Vishnu Deo Sai stated that the state government stands firmly with every person in need, and that public welfare is the government\u2019s highest priority. “Good governance means effective governance,” he emphasized during the final phase of the Sushasan Tihar (Good Governance Festival), while visiting Narayanpal village in Bastar district.<\/p>\n
At the Devgudi premises under a mango tree in Narayanpal, the Chief Minister conducted a community gathering (Chaupal), where he held a lively interaction with the villagers to learn about the implementation of various government schemes.<\/p>\n
He inquired about electricity services, ration distribution, housing under the PM Awas Yojana, the Mahtari Vandan Yojana, the status of ration cards, availability of food grains, and the presence of teachers and patwaris in the village.<\/p>\n
One beneficiary, Mrs. Sarita Kashyap, shared that she is associated with a self-help group and uses the funds from the Mahtari Vandan scheme for household expenses and her children\u2019s medical needs. Mr. Jagmohan Kashyap informed the Chief Minister that his house under the PM Awas Yojana was completed.<\/p>\n
Mrs. Lalita Baghel said she used to mortgage her jewelry to continue her bell metal work, but now, under the BIHAN scheme, she received \u20b915,000 in assistance and a bank loan of up to \u20b91.5 lakh, which has helped her sustain and grow her work. Mrs. Padmini Thakur mentioned her involvement in producing organic fertilizers and pesticides. On this occasion, women from self-help groups presented a food basket to the Chief Minister.<\/p>\n
Commitment to Inclusive Development
\nAddressing the gathering, the Chief Minister assured the villagers that every eligible individual would receive housing, including those listed in Awas Plus. He also committed to adding the names of eligible women who are not yet included in the Mahtari Vandan Yojana. He stressed the government’s efforts to eliminate corruption through technological reforms and shared that the new registration system now simplifies both land registration and mutation processes.<\/p>\n
He also informed the audience that Atal Digital Seva Kendras have been launched in 1,460 Gram Panchayats since April 24, and will soon be expanded to all Gram Panchayats.<\/p>\n

\nIn response to villagers\u2019 demands, the Chief Minister announced development works worth \u20b91.11 crore, including:<\/p>\n
\u20b920 lakh for Narayanpal Secondary School building<\/p>\n
\u20b920 lakh for Primary School in Mandirpara<\/p>\n
\u20b915 lakh for streetlights and high-mast lights<\/p>\n
\u20b920 lakh for a commercial complex<\/p>\n
\u20b915 lakh for a 600-meter CC road (Govardhan Bhatha to Bodghara Ghar)<\/p>\n
\u20b912 lakh for two culverts (2-meter span each)<\/p>\n
\u20b99 lakh for a CC road (Dharmu\u2019s house to the boat ghat)<\/p>\n
Empowerment and Recognition
\nThe Chief Minister distributed vehicles to 11 beneficiaries from forest committees of Kanger Valley National Park, including Kotamsar, Tirathgarh, and Kamanar areas. He also honored meritorious Class 10 and 12 students with tablets and books.<\/p>\n
