As part of the final phase of Sushasan Tihar (Good Governance Festival), Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai\u2019s helicopter landed today in village Kanakbira, located in Sarangarh-Bilaigarh district. He held a traditional Chaupal (public meeting) under the shade of a Gulmohar tree near the Pre-Matric Boys\u2019 Hostel and directly interacted with villagers, gathering feedback on government schemes.<\/p>\n
The Chief Minister said, \u201cIt is my privilege to meet you all today. Being here feels like I am among family.\u201d<\/p>\n
Shri Sai explained the essence of Sushasan Tihar, saying that in the first phase, applications were collected, in the second, action was taken, and in the third, the government itself has reached your doorstep. \u201cThis initiative is not just a report card but a chance to evaluate the real impact of government schemes,\u201d he added. Ministers, MPs, MLAs, the Chief Secretary, and other senior officials are actively participating across the state.<\/p>\n

On-the-Ground Feedback and Conversations
\nDuring his unannounced visit to Kanakbira, CM Sai spoke to villagers in Chhattisgarhi dialect. He inquired about electricity, ration distribution, and funds received under Mahatari Vandan Yojana. He also asked about drinking water supply under Jal Jeevan Mission, and encouraged farmers to cultivate profitable crops like maize, urad (black gram), and moong (green gram) in addition to paddy.<\/p>\n

Heartwarming Gestures
\nDuring the Chaupal, the CM spotted former MLA Shamsher Singh sitting among the crowd. In a gesture of respect, he invited him to sit beside him, acknowledging his continued work in social service and temple construction.<\/p>\n
The CM also met 85-year-old Bhagirathi Sahu, who had walked with a stick to attend the Chaupal. Touched by his presence and attentiveness, the CM warmly presented him with his turban (safa) as a token of respect.<\/p>\n
Also present were Chief Secretary Shri Amitabh Jain, Principal Secretary to the CM Shri Subodh Singh, and Secretary Shri P. Dayanand, along with other officials.<\/p>\n
The Chief Minister concluded his visit by offering prayers at the Durga Temple in Kanakbira, praying for the well-being, prosperity, peace, and health of all Chhattisgarh residents.
