The Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly today approved grant demands totaling \u20b93,890.67 crore for the departments under Revenue Minister Shri Tank Ram Verma for the financial year 2025-26. This includes:<\/p>\n
\u20b92,158.65 crore for Land Revenue and District Administration
\n\u20b926.49 crore for expenses related to the Revenue Department
\n\u20b91,552.69 crore for relief expenditures in disaster-affected and drought-prone areas
\n\u20b9152.83 crore for the Sports and Youth Welfare Department
\nSeveral legislators, including Ajay Chandrakar, Ramkumar Yadav, Ambika Markam, Prabodh Minz, Kunwar Singh Nishad, Rakesh Sen, and Dharamjeet Singh, participated in discussions on these grant demands.<\/p>\n
Revenue and Land Administration
\nMinister Verma highlighted that the Revenue Department plays a crucial role in implementing most government schemes. Efforts are being made to modernize processes and improve record accessibility for the public. Key allocations include:<\/p>\n

\nThe Deendayal Bhoomihin Krishi Kalyan Yojana benefited 5 lakh families in FY 2024-25, with \u20b9500 crore deposited directly into their bank accounts.

\nThe Digital India Land Records Modernization Program is progressing well, with key achievements:<\/p>\n
Completion of digital land surveys across 13,313 villages in 26 districts
\nGeo-referencing of Patwari maps, facilitating better demarcation, mutation, and error correction

\nInfrastructure & Modernization

\n\u20b910 crore each for new tehsil office buildings in Bilaspur, Durg, Surguja, and Khairagarh

\n\u20b9163.22 crore allocated for 762 revenue courts
\n\u20b925.85 crore for CM Digital Empowerment Scheme
