This time, glimpses of Chhattisgarh’s cultural heritage and the Ramnami community will be seen in Bharat Parv 2025, to be held at the Red Fort in Delhi on the occasion of Republic Day. Chhattisgarh’s tableau is based on the Government of India’s theme ‘Golden India: Heritage and Development’. The state’s rich and diverse cultural heritage has been showcased in the tableau.
\nToday, the Chhattisgarh tableau received praise from the national media at the press preview held at the National Rangshala, Delhi. It has been demonstrated through the tableau that there is a deep connection between life, nature and spirituality in the cultural heritage of Chhattisgarh. This tableau is presenting the unique cultural identity of the state while depicting the folk life, customs and traditions of Chhattisgarh.
\nIn the front part of the tableau, a woman and a man representing the Ramnami community, who worship the formless Ram, are shown. The words ‘Ram-Ram’ are inscribed on their bodies and clothes. They are shown reciting Ramcharitmanas. Ghungroos, which are used for bhajan, are displayed near them. In the middle part, tribal culture attire, ornaments, artifacts and art traditions are depicted. In this part, the Turhi musical instrument and the Salfi tree, which have an important place in the folk life of Bastar, are prominently displayed. A peacock is engraved at the back of the tableau, which is a symbol of the beauty and vibrancy of folk life. Through the tableau, the spirituality associated with the cultural heritage and nature of Chhattisgarh has been deeply highlighted.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
