{"id":16222,"date":"2024-11-28T20:22:00","date_gmt":"2024-11-28T14:52:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/asiannewsservice.in\/en\/?p=16222"},"modified":"2024-11-30T23:24:45","modified_gmt":"2024-11-30T17:54:45","slug":"ncb-signs-two-landmark-mous-for-advancing-decarbonization-and-technological-innovation-in-cement-industry","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/asiannewsservice.in\/en\/ncb-signs-two-landmark-mous-for-advancing-decarbonization-and-technological-innovation-in-cement-industry\/","title":{"rendered":"NCB signs two landmark MoUs for advancing decarbonization and technological innovation in cement industry"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Delhi, Nov 28<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The National Council for Cement and Building Materials (NCB), an organization under the administrative control of&nbsp; Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade<strong>&nbsp;(<\/strong>DPIIT), Ministry of Commerce &amp; Industry,&nbsp; signed two Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) during the 18th NCB International Conference and Exhibition on Cement and Concrete held at Yashobhoomi, IICC Dwarka.The event will conclude on 29<sup>th<\/sup>&nbsp;November 2024 with the presentation of National Awards for Cement Industry to the best participating cement plants and Best Paper Awards to papers of special merit presented during the conference.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/static.pib.gov.in\/WriteReadData\/userfiles\/image\/image001YTXF.jpg\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>An MoU was signed between NCB and the Global Cement and Concrete Association (GCCA), India to promote research in the area of decarbonization within the Indian cement sector. The MoU was signed by Dr. L P Singh, Director General of NCB, and Sh. Manoj Rustagi, Director of GCCA, India. This&nbsp; will boost the ongoing efforts in making the Indian Cement Industry \u201cNet Zero\u201d by 2070.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/static.pib.gov.in\/WriteReadData\/userfiles\/image\/image002SJM7.jpg\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Also, another Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between NCB and AIC-Plasmatech Innovation Foundation in the application of Thermal Plasma Torch Technology in Cement production. The MoU was signed by Dr. L P Singh (Director General-NCB) and Dr. Nirav Jamnapara (Director-AIC Plasmatech).
