“Water is a precious gift of nature, bestowed upon us by God, but we must understand its value. Today, the entire world is grappling with a water crisis. Groundwater levels are rapidly declining in many cities around the world. If we don’t act now, the water crisis could become catastrophic. We all must conserve every drop of water. Water conservation is everyone’s responsibility. Water management is the need of the hour. We must pay special attention to water management, conservation, and the development of water resources for the better future of generations to come,” said Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai.
Sai was addressing the 57th annual session of the Indian Water Works Association.
