Vidya Bharati Has Made a Remarkable Contribution in Promoting India’s Culture and Traditions: CM Sai

Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai said that the Vidya Bharati organization has made a distinctive contribution in preserving and promoting India’s cultural heritage and traditions. He urged students to play an important role in building national pride.
The Chief Minister was speaking at the inauguration of the newly constructed Saraswati College building at the Saraswati Shishu Mandir campus in Koni, Bilaspur. On this occasion, during a grand felicitation ceremony organized by Vidya Bharati, 24 meritorious students selected from Saraswati Schools across 33 districts of the state, as well as those who excelled in cultural events and festivals, were honored.
The event was chaired by Deputy Chief Minister Shri Arun Sao, and Union Minister of State Shri Tokhan Sahu, Higher Education Minister Shri Tank Ram Verma, and School Education Minister Shri Gajendra Yadav attended as distinguished guests. MLAs Shri Dharamlal Kaushik (Bilha) and Shri Dharamjeet Singh (Takhatpur) also marked their special presence.
The Chief Minister and other dignitaries formally inaugurated the new college building at the Saraswati School campus with rituals and prayers. Afterwards, during the felicitation ceremony held at the Lakhiram Auditorium within the campus, Shri Sai extended greetings for Sharadiya Navratri and praised the students, saying:
“Talented students are bringing glory to the state through their hard work, discipline, and values. This new building is a symbol of the expansion of education and knowledge, which will guide society in a new direction.”
He highlighted that Saraswati College has signed MoUs with Guru Ghasidas University and ISRO, Bengaluru, which will open up greater opportunities for students in higher education, research, and technology. Additionally, a study center of Pt. Sundarlal Sharma University will also begin at the campus.
The Chief Minister reaffirmed that education is the top priority of the state government. Under the National Education Policy, students are being provided education in local languages, skill training, hi-tech libraries, robotics, and artificial intelligence. He encouraged students to contribute to society and nation-building with determination and hard work.
Deputy Chief Minister Shri Arun Sao, in his address, stated that Vidya Bharati not only imparts education but also instills values. He appreciated the organization’s efforts to preserve India’s knowledge traditions and cultural heritage.
Shri Dev Narayan, the provincial organizational secretary of Vidya Bharati, spoke about the organization’s principles, ideology, and working model. He informed that three colleges have been established in Chhattisgarh by Saraswati institutions, and seven major projects are currently being operated. Under Gram Bharati, over 1,100 schools are functioning. Through these institutions, Indian culture and traditions are being passed on to the younger generation, nurturing capable and nationally committed students.
Young children captivated the audience with vibrant and delightful cultural performances during the event.

Pooja Vidhani, CREDA Chairman Shri Bhupendra Sawanni, Saraswati Education Institution Chhattisgarh President Shri Ram Bharosa Soni, Saraswati Gram Education Committee President Shri Ratan Chandrakar, Koni Saraswati Shishu Mandir President Shri Muneshwar Kaushik, Secretary Shri Santosh Tiwari, Shri Brijendra Shukla, Shri Purnandan Kashyap, Shri Rampal, Shri Sujit Mitra, Shri Sudama Ram Sahu, Provincial Head Smt. Divya Chandel, directors, principals, teachers, a large number of students, and eminent citizens.
