Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam and patriotism are taught by our Sanatan tradition: CM Sai

A country can remain strong only when its foundation is strong. The foundation of our country lies in our Sanatan traditions, said Chief MinisterVishnu Deo Sai, adding that the Sanatan tradition teaches us Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam and the lesson of patriotism.
It is very important for the progress of our country and state that we also impart the same values of the Sanatan tradition to our younger generation that we have received from our teachers and parents, he added.
Chief Minister Sai said this while addressing the groundbreaking ceremony of Shri Vedamata Gayatri Mahavidyalaya in Gram Kangoli near Jagdalpur during his visit to Bastar.
Chief Minister Shri Sai said that the Gayatri Mantra is the most important mantra of our Sanatan tradition. This mantra inspires us to walk on the right path. The students of the Vidya Bharati institution are being given the values of patriotism along with excellent education.
Chief Minister Shri Sai said that education has special significance in human life and with this objective, the state government is also emphasizing skill development along with education.
He informed that high-level professional educational institutions like IIT, IIM are available in Chhattisgarh. Apart from this, 341 PM Shri Schools have been established in the state where facilities are being developed for quality education. Also, Nalanda campuses are being established in big cities to provide necessary facilities and a conducive environment for the students of the state.
He also gave information about the new education policy and the youth hostel created for preparing for competitive exams in Delhi.
The program was also addressed by the Deputy Chief Minister of the state, Shri Arun Sao, Forest Minister Shri Kedar Kashyap, and Sports and Youth Welfare Minister Shri Tankram Verma.
Chief Minister Shri Sai also announced to provide Rs 50 lakh for the development of the Vidya Bharati institution. On this occasion, Lok Sabha member from Kanker district, Shri Bhojraj Nag, announced to give Rs 1 crore every year from the MP fund for the development of various institutions of the Vidya Bharati institution in the state, and Jagdalpur MLA Shri Kirandev Singh announced to provide financial assistance of Rs 10 lakh for the development of the institution located in Jagdalpur.
On this occasion, the head of the institution Shri Rajbahadur Singh Rana, the general secretary of the institution Shri Narendra Taneja, and Shri Ramdatt Chakradhar gave information about the objectives and activities of the institution.
Chief Minister Shri Sai participated in the yagna organized at the Saraswati Shishu Mandir campus and offered oblations with Vedic chants and wished for the progress and prosperity of Bastar and the people of the state. He planted a teak tree in the courtyard. On this occasion, Dantewada MLA Shri Chaitram Attami, local public representatives, teachers of the school, and a large number of students were present.
