Union Home Minister Amit Shah attends ‘Abhinandan Bhoj’ with Manjhi-Chalaki

Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai on Saturday attended the Abhinandan Bhoj organised at Lalbagh Ground in Jagdalpur in honour of the traditional Manjhi-Chalaki, Members and Memberin as part of the Bastar Dussehra celebrations.
Praising the tribal delicacies served at the feast, Shah said that these traditional dishes represent the unique flavour of Bastar’s culture, traditions and tribal life values.
Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai said that in Bastar’s tribal tradition, the Abhinandan Bhoj with Manjhi-Chalaki, Members and Memberin is not just a gesture of hospitality but a living symbol of brotherhood, community bonding and cultural harmony. He added that the occasion is not only a celebration of Bastar’s rich and vibrant tribal culture but also an expression of social unity and respect for local traditions.
The Abhinandan Bhoj was also attended by Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sharma, Agriculture Minister Ramvichar Netam, Forest Minister Kedar Kashyap, Women and Child Development Minister Laxmi Rajwade, Tourism Minister Rajesh Agrawal, MPs Mahesh Kashyap and Bhojraj Nag, along with MLAs Kiran Singh Deo, Vinayak Goyal, Chaitram Atami, Neelkanth Tekam, Asharam Netam and Lata Usendi, besides several other prominent citizens.
