Under the leadership of Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai, the Government of Chhattisgarh is steadily working toward strengthening and simplifying good governance through e-governance. Advancing the vision of “Digital Administration – Transparent Solutions,” the state government has now taken an innovative step to make employee service records available and updatable through a mobile application. This effort reflects Chief Minister Sai’s vision of ensuring convenience, respect, and rights for every employee through a fast, simple, and trustworthy system.

As a result, nearly 4 lakh government employees in the state will no longer have to sift through files for their Confidential Reports (CRs). Employees’ profiles will now be updated through the ‘Employee Corner’ mobile app, which will eliminate issues during retirement, promotion, or in cases of pay discrepancies.

Under the new system, updating employee profiles on the Karmik Sampada Portal has been made mandatory. For this purpose, both the Employee Corner Mobile App and Web Portal have been developed. This system, initiated by the Directorate of Treasury and Accounts, has been implemented with immediate effect. It will greatly assist in keeping employees’ “digital service profiles” up to date.

Although the Karmik Sampada module has been in use since 2019, this new digital platform will provide employees with quick and convenient access to personal and service-related information.

Director of Treasury and Accounts, Shri Ritesh Agrawal, stated that many employees had not been updating their records on the Karmik Sampada portal, which often led to various complications during retirement. Updating this information is the responsibility of office heads, but the delays often cause difficulties. To solve this problem, the Employee Corner mobile app has been developed, allowing employees to log in and update their own information.

Now, for updates such as service details, nominee changes, or bank account modifications, employees will no longer have to rely solely on office heads, thereby reducing delays. The system will ensure greater transparency and efficiency in transfers, salary fixation, promotions, and other administrative tasks. Additionally, it will enable faster resolution of matters related to pensions, GPF, gratuity, leave encashment, and other retirement benefits, as the data will already be updated.

Key Benefits of the Karmik Sampada App:
Applications related to service matters can now be disposed of in a time-bound manner by competent authorities.

With updated modules, issues related to salary discrepancies will be reduced.

Employees can log in to the Employee Corner app or web application to update their information themselves.

The app and portal are designed to make profile updates easier and more user-friendly.

Additionally, a fully online system has been developed to submit the final GPF claim to the Accountant General’s office after retirement. This will greatly reduce the time taken for claim processing.

An online GPF Credit Missing Module has also been introduced, allowing office heads and employees to correct missing GPF entries during the service period through an online interface.

Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai has clearly stated that every decision taken by the state government must serve the interests of both the general public and government employees. This digital initiative is a strong step toward service security, transparency in processes, and speedy resolution, and it helps place Chhattisgarh among the leading states in e-governance.
