TWO-DAY REGIONAL TRAINING CAMP OF NSO CONCLUDED

Raipur, October 21

 A two-day Regional Training Camp (RTC) for the second phase of pilot study on Annual Survey of Service Sector Enterprises (ASSSE) and follow-up survey on capital investment intentions of private corporate sector was held on 18th and 19th October, 2024 at the Conference Hall of NSO Office, Raipur. The training camp was attended by Shri Altaf Hussain Haji, Deputy Director General, National Statistical Office, Raipur, Shri Rishabh Singh Shyam, Assistant Director, Sub-Regional Office, Bilaspur and Senior Statistical Officers of Sub-Regional Offices Ambikapur, Bilaspur, Durg.

This program was presided over by Shri Altaf Hussain Haji, Deputy Director General. Shri Rajesh Kumar Srivastava, Senior Statistical Officer and Head of Office, and Shri Roushan Kumar, Senior Statistical Officer, National Statistics Office, Raipur imparted training to SSOs. Participants were exposed on the concepts, coverage, and schedule of ASSSE Phase II for data collection on the designated samples within the jurisdiction of the National Statistics Office, Raipur. The program also included an overview of the e-Sigma module for Phase II of ASSSSE, facilitated through Computer Assisted Personal Interview Software (CAPI Software). Throughout the training programme, participant’s queries were recorded and forwarded to the competent authority. During the survey, information will be collected form selected units on fixed capital, working capital, employee details at state level.
