Raipur, April 7

Under the guidance of Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai, the statewide Good Governance Festival will begin on April 8, aimed at addressing the problems of the people and meeting them face-to-face. This event, to be held in three phases, will continue until May 31.

In the first phase, from April 8 to 11, direct applications will be taken from the public at the offices of Gram Panchayats and Urban Local Bodies. Applications will also be accepted through the online application portal and Common Service Centers. To gather applications, a solution box will be placed in development blocks and district headquarters.

It is noteworthy that Chhattisgarh is celebrating its Silver Jubilee this year. Coincidentally, this year marks the centenary of the birth of the architect of Chhattisgarh state, Bharat Ratna former Prime Minister Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee, which the state government is observing as the “Atal Nirman Year.” The organization of Good Governance Festival-2025 is an important initiative in the series of efforts by the state government towards promoting good governance.

Under the Good Governance Festival-2025, all received applications will be entered into the software and forwarded to the concerned departments, with resolution ensured within a month.

Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai has directed all district collectors to ensure the systematic organization of the Good Governance Festival and the prompt resolution of applications received under it. He further stated that the status and quality of resolution will also be reviewed at the state and district levels.

Solution Camps and Promotion of Schemes

In the third phase, solution camps will be organized in 8 to 15 Gram Panchayats in each district. Camps will also be held in urban local bodies as necessary. During these camps, the public will be informed about the status of their applications, and efforts will be made to resolve them promptly. Remaining issues will be resolved within a month, and information will be provided. The camps will also disseminate information about welfare schemes, and application forms for beneficiary-oriented schemes will be made available. Active participation from MPs, MLAs, and other public representatives is being ensured in this campaign. The Chief Minister, ministers, Chief Secretary, Secretary In-charge, and senior officers will attend the camps personally to engage with the public, take feedback on development works and schemes, and assess the reality of ongoing projects through surprise inspections.

Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai stated that the goal of the Good Governance Festival 2025 is to provide effective and prompt solutions to public problems, ensure transparency in government activities, and establish direct communication with the public. He appealed to the people of the state to join the Good Governance Festival and make their problems known to the government and administration so that concrete steps can be taken to resolve them.
