White House National Security Advisor, John Bolton has said that North Korea has not taken necessary steps towards scrapping its nuclear program.
In an interview to a news channel,Bolton said the United States has lived up to the joint statement issued after the summit between President Donald Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong Unin June. He said the US needs performance from North Korea on denuclearization.
Meanwhile, at the Conference on Disarmament at the United Nations European headquarters in Geneva yesterday, the North Korean delegate said pressure through sanctions is not an absolute solution.
