
Raipur, November 27
A joint squad of security personnel today arrested 14 cadres of banned naxals from separate places in insurgency-hit Sukma district of Chhattisgarh, police said.
According to police, a joint team of District Force (DF), District Reserve Guard (DRG), Special Task Force (STF), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) and CRPF’s CoBRA undertaking anti-naxal operation arrested five ultras from limits of Chintalnar police station, five cadres from Chintagufa police limits and four from Chindgarh police station limits.
Police further informed that the arrested were identified as Madkam Nanga (35), Mandvi Handa (45), Madkam Sula (29), Mandvi Guddu (24), Podiyam Bandi (35), Sodi Sanna (19), Sodi Aayta (21), Dudhi Sukka (26), Sodi Kosa (19), Bojja Kashyap (35), Sodi Masa (26), Madkami Kosa (40), Muchaki Deva (40) and Dirdo Erra (35).
The arrested naxals were active in the outlawed organization as lower rank cadres, police said, elaborating that they were involved in various crimes took place in the region.
The arrested ultras have been produced in a local court from where they were sent to jail, added police.
