
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has suggested that BRICS-leadership-for-global-transformation can be achieved through ten noble commitments. These include counter terrorism, cyber security and disaster management, and creation of a greener and enabled world created by sharing and deploying suitable technologies to enhance efficiencies, economy and effectiveness.
Addressing Emerging Markets and Developing Countries Dialogue for promoting mutually beneficial cooperation for Common Development during BRICS summit at Xiamen, Mr Modi said that India’s no-strings-attached model of cooperation is driven purely by the requirements and priorities of partner countries. He said, India’s development partnership projects are providing water, electricity, roads, healthcare, tele-medicine, and basic infrastructure in dozens of countries.
Mr. Modi said that earlier this year, India launched the South Asia Satellite to benefit willing regional partners in meeting their developmental goals. He said, India has a long tradition of partnerships with fellow developing countries, while pursuing its own
aspirations for growth.
He said, India’s programmes are geared to accomplish these priority goals in a time-bound manner and the bedrock of the development agenda lies in the notion of ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikaas.’
As per information received, the Bilateral with Egypt President and Prime Minister Narendra Modi has completed, and another bilateral with Chinese President Xi Jinping is underway.
