PM Modi stresses on need for wider use of technology to communicate with people

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has accused the opposition of spreading lies against the government due to its frustration over electoral losses. During the BJP Parliamentary Party meeting held at the party Headquarters in New Delhi yesterday, Mr Modi asked the party MPs to use technology effectively to take the truth to the masses.

Senior party leader and Union Minister Prakash Javadekar informed about the meeting in a Press briefing. Mr Javadekar said, the party Chief Amit Shah asked the party MPs to hold press conferences in the in their parliamentary constituencies in next three days and tell the people why the opposition is stalling the functioning of Parliament.

BJP Spokesperson Anil Baluni said, party leader and Union Minister Dr Jitendra Singh gave a presentation on transformation of 115 aspirational districts. He said, party is starting Gram Swaraj Abhiyan from 14th of next month to 5th of May. He said, the party will observe on 14th April as Social Justice day,on 18th April party will organise Swachh Bharat Divas, on 20th April Ujjwala Divas, on 24th April Panchayati Raj Divas and on 30th April Swasth Bharat Divas.

Mr Baluni also said, on 2nd May Kisan Kalyan Divas will be organised and 5th May will be observed as Livelihood and Skill Development Divas. The BJP Parliamentary Party meeting was attended by party veteran L K Advani and senior leaders including Union Ministers Rajnath Singh, Sushma Swaraj and Arun Jaitley. Party’s MPs from Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha were also present in the meeting.
