Pakistani forces resorted to heavy shelling in yet another incidence of ceasefire violation along the Line of Control, in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir.
According to Defence sources, the forces from across the LoC resorted to unprovoked firing and shelling targeting Indian positions and civilian areas in Gulpur sector around 10 pm last evening.
Troops guarding the borderline retaliated the shelling and intermittently exchange of fire continued for an hour. There is no report of injury or casualty from the Indian side.
