Congress President Rahul Gandhi today said, note ban and GST have destroyed the business in the country. Addressing the Jan Aakrosh Rally in New Delhi, Mr Gandhi said, people are fed up with the NDA government which has only made hollow promises.

On the upcoming Karnataka Assembly elections, the Congress President alleged that the Prime Minister always talks about curbing corruption but the BJP’s Chief Ministerial candidate in the state is facing corruption charges.

UPA Chairperson Sonia Gandhi alleged that the NDA government is muzzling dissenting voices, weakening institutions, dividing communities and eying poll gains. Former Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh alleged that the government’s anti-farmer policies have resulted in an unprecedented agrarian distress in the country.
