“With motivation of Dr BR Ambedkar, we accepted the constitution and democracy was established in the country but naxalism, which act against democracy, has disgraced Baba Sahib as well as constitution. People with the same ideology go to institutes like JNU and Hyderabad University and raise slogan of Baba Sahib Ambedkar. They should ashamed that Ambedkar had never favour the path of violence. While struggling for dalit rights, he neither accepted nor promoted violent acts,” stated Union Minister of State for Home Hansraj Ahir, adding that they voice for azadi in JNU but these shameless don’t know who to free, we have to make people living in Pak Occupied Kashmir free.
Addressing the 50th state convention of ABVP in Chhattisgarh’s capital today, Ahir questioned that what kind of study is ongoing in JNU and what kind of professor are teaching there. A group of tainted people in Hyderabad were trying to provoke mass on the issue of Vemula. They were targeting Vidyarthi Parishad on the issue which was incorrect.
NSUI as well as communists have gone as they neither have any ideology nor vision, said Ahir.
Citing recent encounter on Indo-Pak borders, the minister said that “recently our one jawan was martyred then we gunned down their 6-8 pak troopers. We are not weak, they will be given befitting reply.
Meanwhile, calling on naxal cadres to quit red-movement and join mainstream of the society, Ahir said that weapons being manufactured in the country are to deal with terrorism not against them.
He further said that youths in Kashmiri were misguided by separatists. Separatist leaders like Gilani, Malik and others were giving money to students for stone pelting in the valley and this has been proved in the investigation of National Investigation Agency (NIA) and action against them has been initiated.
Targeting ideology of naxalism and left, he said that what tribal have gained through the ideology of naxalism. They have kept tribal away from their rights as well as thwart development of the region. I assure that LWE areas, which was spreading in around 750 police stations and 10 states, are now shrinking and reduced to around 450 police stations.
