Japanese Prime minister Shinzo Abe today said, Japan would never tolerate North Korea trampled on the international community’s strong, united resolve toward peace that has been shown in UN resolutions.
Reacting to North Korea’s today’s missile launch, Abe said if Pyongyang continues to walk down this path, it has no bright future and the world must make North Korea understand this. He called for an emergency meeting of the UN Security Council and stressed that now it is the time for the international community to be united.
Meanwhile, the US has asked China and Russia to take direct action against North Korea to indicate their intolerance to the provocative missile tests carried out. US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson said in a statement that China supplies North Korea with most of its oil and Russia is the largest employer of North Korean forced labour. He said China and Russia must indicate their intolerance for these reckless missile launches by taking direct actions of their own.
