As many as four persons were killed when a fire breaks out in Raipur-based lodge early morning hour today, police informed.
According to information received, a major fire erupted in Tulsi lodge close to Rehmaniya Chowk during early morning hours in Raipur leaving around three persons dead. After being informed about the incident, police and firefighting vehicles rushed to the spot for undertaking rescue task. The rescue operation was continuing till 11 in the morning.
Police and firefighting personnel undertaking rescue task spotted four bodies but due to massive smoke number of deaths were not confirmed, averred senior police personnel.
