Preparations for Mizoram assembly elections scheduled to be held on 28th November are going on in full swing.
Chief Election Commissioner OP Rawat told media persons in Aizawl on Wednesday that the poll preparations made by the state election machinery are satisfactory.
Mr Rawat said, like earlier elections in the state, Mizoram will have a free and fair election which would set an example for the whole nation.
Meanwhile campaigning by various parties is gradually picking up across the state. BJP National President Amit Shah kicked off the campaign for his party in Aizawl today.
He asked all the booth level workers to strengthen their respective booths in order to win in the upcoming Assembly Elections.
He said the BJP will contest in all the 40 constituencies on its own without making an alliance. Mr Amit Shah asked the people to vote BJP for development and eradication of corruption.
