
Prime Minister Narender Modi today said that the Centre has increased allocation of annual budget of Himachal to Rs 72 thousand crores from 21 thousand crores.
Addressing a rally in Dharamshala on completion of one year of Himachal Pradesh government, the Prime Minister said that Himachal is getting an increased budget of over Rs 50 thousand crore, which is an almost four times increase.
The Prime Minister said state government has made best efforts to benefit every section of the society by launching various new welfare schemes at the door steps of general public. He said that the state has huge potential for industrial development.
As per information received, a massive rally was being organized to celebrate the one year of BJP government in the State.
While addressing the rally Prime Minister stated that Himachal Pradesh is a land of brave soldiers who remain always ready for their supreme sacrifices at the border.
He said active cooperation and support of the people of the state that Himachal Pradesh has scaled the new heights of development in most of the sectors.
Prime Minister also released a booklet carrying details of one year achievements of State government. Earlier he also had a look at the exhibition and watched documentary displaying benefits of state and central sponsored schemes to the general public in the State.
Union Health Minister J.P Nadda ,Governor Acharya Dev Vrat and Chief Minister Jairam Thakur along with other high level dignitaries were also present to graced the occasion.
