BJP leaders changes social media profile as black to protest naxal attack

To protest the killing of lone BJP MLA from Bastar division and four others, BJP leaders in Chhattisgarh have blacked their profile pictures in social media platforms.

“In backdrop of naxal attack that shocked entrie state, country and political fraternity, BJP leaders including former Chief Minister Raman Singh, president of BJP state unit Vikram Usendi, leader of opposition of Chhattisgarh assembly Dharamlal Kaushik, MLA Brijmohan Agrawal, MLA Ajay Chandrakar, senior leaders Rajesh Munat and large numbers of BJP workers on Twitter account have put black spot as their profile,” said a party spokesperson.

Similarly, the profile photo in official Twitter handle of BJP Chhattisgarh has also been changed to black, added the party’s office bearer.

Apart from Twitter, senior leaders here have also changed their profile picture on Facebook account to black as a part of their protest against the yesterday’s naxal attack.

It may be recalled that BJP MLA Bhima Mandavi, his driver and three security personnel were killed in a naxal attack took place at Shyamgiri hill falling in limits of Kuwakonda police station.
