Raman Singh-led BJP government in Chhattisgarh has effectively worked to keep tab of naxal activities, stated the party National President Amit Shah in Raipur today.
The party, which terms naxals as revolutionists and believe naxalism as a medium of revolution, cannot bring development in Chhattisgarh.
He further elaborated that BJP believe replacing smoke emitting Chulhas with LPG cylinders and stove, electrifying every house of poor, ensuring quality education to poor children, employment and bonus to farmers as revolution.
Despite of ruling the country of around 55 years, Congress failed to link last person of the society with development.
Highlighting the BJP’s Sankalp Patra, Shah said the party’s office-bearers, leaders, workers, booth-level workers have met thousands of people across the state, including intellectuals and all cross-section of people in the society, Vanvasi, backward people, youths and after doing so, a factual election agenda has been prepared and which is being launched today. Praising the Chief Minister, Shah said it is his record that in all three previous elections whatever promises have been made in election manifesto has been fulfilled by the Raman Singh led BJP government here. The promises made in the fourth Sankalp Patra will be fulfilled.

BJP Sankalp Patra stressed on complete eradication of Left Wing Extremism from the state. The Sankalp Patra has announced to provide free text-books and uniforms to all students (boys and girls) up to Class XII. Encouraging girls for higher studies, the Sankalp Patra announced distribution of free scooterette to meritorious girl students. It also promised to constitute Journalist Welfare Board for the welfare of journalists and photo-journalists.
The Sankalp Patra promised to develop Raipur-Naya Raipur (Atal Nagar)-Bhilai-Durg-Rajnandgaon as State Capital Region.
Aiming at enhancement of medical facilities, the Sankalp Patra promised to develop all district hospitals as multi-specialty hospitals apart from establishing super-specialty hospitals at Ambikapur and Jagdalpur. The Sankalp Patra also promised to pay Skill Up-gradation Allowance to youths with an objective to ensure employment for them. In order to remove enragement among police families, the Sankalp Patra promised to constitute a special system for fast resolving of problems pertaining to police service rules.
The other salient features of the Sankalp Patra include Rs 1000 pension to all minor and marginal farmers as well as landless farm workers; 2 lakh new agriculture pump connections in next five years; to increase irrigation coverage to 50 percent by constructing new small dams and deepening of existing stop dams; purchase oilseeds and pulses under Minimum Support Price from farmers; to hike the MSP for minor forest produce by 1.5 times; initiatives to be taken towards developing Chhattisgarh as an organic farming state; Chhattisgarh to be freed from LWE menace; to launch Guru Ghasidas and Amar Shahid Gundadhur Scholarship schemes for children from SC and ST category respectively; establishment of multi-facility ‘haat bazaar’ for marketing of forest produce; hike in pension for destitute beneficiaries; pucca housing for urban and rural poor families.
The Sankalp Patra also promised to provide double the amount being paid under Noni Suraksha Yojna to Rs 2 lakh; free cycles to all children taking admission in Class 9th; free text-books and uniforms for all students up to Class XII; distribution of free scooterette to meritorious girl students; interest free loans up to Rs 2 lakh to women and up to Rs 5 lakh for women SHGs for business; all district hospitals to developed as multi-specialty hospitals and super-specialty hospitals to be established at Ambikapur and Jagdalpur; for ensuring employment for youths Skill Up-gradation Allowance (unemployment allowance) will be paid; establishment of Entrepreneurship Master Fund with a capital of Rs 200 crore; to open new university for promoting Hindi and Chhattisgarhi language; Rs 1000 per month medical allowance to pensioners; Health insurance up to Rs 5 lakh per annum through Ayushman Bharat Yojna for poor and Rs 1 lakh per annum universal medical insurance for all others.
The BJP Sankalp Patra further promised to implement Advocate Protection Act; construction of government employees’ colonies at block head quarters level; regularization and renewal of all permanent and nazul lease deeds in urban areas; business insurance up to Rs 5 lakh for small businessmen; to develop Chhattisgarh as a famous tourist spot in the world map; construction of Film City and introduction of Micro Blogging Site to bring all people from Chhattisgarh presently residing in different parts of the world in one platform.
