Continuing its attack on Congress President Rahul Gandhi, BJP President Amit Shah today said that the people who spoke about procurement of mobile phones from BHEL (Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited) are today asking accounts of work done by us.
“Rahul baba, who recently visited Chhattisgarh, was asking Raman Singh that why state government did not procured mobile phones from BHEL under SKY scheme. He even don’t know that BHEL does not manufacture phones and he was asking for account of the government works,” said Shah.
Shah today flagged-off the second phase of Chief Minister Raman Singh’s Vikas Yatra ‘Atal Vikas Yatra’ from Dongargarh in Rajnandgaon district.

“I was listening to speech of ‘Shehzade of Congress in which he was asking Modi ji’s account of work during four years of rule. Why he was asking this question, we don’t need to answer you. Rahul Gandhi you don’t have authority to ask such question. You are asking account of four years of works but people of the country asking you to give an account of your four generation rule in the country,” Shah said while addressing a gathering.

He further said that despite of 60 years’ Congress rule, villages were deprived of power supply, and farmers were not getting better MSP.

Moreover, the BJP President termed Congress as “coal mine thieve” accusing the party in indulging of irregularities in coal block’s allocations.

The development being witnessed here in the state is only due to formation of Chhattisgarh and former Prime Minister late Atal Bihari Vajpayee has laid the foundation for it, said Shah, elaborating that Atal ji has formed the state while Raman Singh has developed it.

Praising the works and expressing confidence of Raman Singh’s victory in coming election, Shah said Raman Singh was the first person in the country who dedicated Naya Raipur as Atal Nagar as a gesture of homage to former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee on behalf of Chhattisgarh.
