Raipur, May 22
Raipur police have rescued a minor school girl, who was allegedly exploited by her father and brother sexually, from last three month in the state capital, police said today.
The crime was reported in Indira Nagar locality falling in limits of Urla police station, added police.
According to police, a father-son duo was allegedly exploiting a 16-year-old girl in the state capital from last three months. The crime came to light after victim narrated ordeal to her sister-in-law following which a complaint was lodged in this regard and police have started investigation. After crime came to light, one accused (victim’s brother) reportedly committed suicide.
Based on preliminary investigation and statement of the victim girl, police have arrested the accused and started investigation.
In this connection, police have registered a case under relevant sections of Indian Penal Code (IPC) and Protection of Children from Sexual Offence Act (POSCO), police informed.
