With 98.40 percent, Shiv Kumar Pandey of Balodabazaar stood first in secondary school certificate examination-2018 hosted by Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary education while high school certificate examination was topped by Yagyesh Chauhan of Jashpur with 98.33 percent.
The results for both the classes were today released by School Education Minister Kedar Kashyap.
As per information received, with 79.40 percent passing results, girls in examination of 12th board have outshined boys who have 74.45 percent passing result whereas 77 percent was the overall passing percent (which is higher to the passing percent of last year).
Moreover, the passing percent of students in 10th class was 68 percent including 69.40 percent girls and 66.42 percent girls.
As per the tentative merit list released by the board, Yagyesh Chauhan topped with 98.33 percent, Mansi Mishra stood second (98 percent), third place was held by Anurag Dubey (97.67 percent), four place was jointly shared by Mohit Sahu and Maheshwari Sai (97.50 percent) and fifth place was held by Bhaskar Yadav and Roshan Tiwari with 97.17 percent.
Likewise, topper list of class 12th according to CGBSE are as follow: Shiv Kumar Pandey clinched first place with 98.40 percent, second place by Sandhya Kaushik (97.40), Subham Gandharv and Shubham Gupta jointly held third place (97.20 percent) fourth place is bagged by three students Vijay Chauhan, Hemant Sahu and Ankita Upadhyay (96.80 percent) and fifth place in held by Safal Verma, Nohar and Kapil (96.40 percent).
