In Pakistan, at least 20 people were killed and 3 others injured last night by the custodian of a shrine in Sargodha in Punjab province. Deputy Commissioner of Sargodha, Liaquat Ali Chatta said the custodian, Abdul Waheed, is mentally unstable and used a dagger and a stick to kill his victims.
Quoting the survivors, the deputy commissioner said, the custodian had contacted devotees via telephone and summoned them to his room one by one. He claimed that the custodian had offered an intoxicating substance to his victims before removing their clothes and beating them to death.
